News of a Scheer side-project called Lima, on Schism Music Group.


November 1999

After disappearing into the studio for over two years, Scheer are finally ready to release their new album, but unfortunately the band decides to call it a day.

Due to demand from friends and fans, they release the final album on their own label, Schism Records.


May 28 1997

Scheer are still hard at work in the studio working with producer Clif Norrell on their follow-up to last year's debut "Infliction". Clif has worked with diverse names such as R.E.M., Henry Rollins, and the recently reformed Echo & The Bunnymen.


April 30 1997

Scheer spent an exciting weekend in Moscow, Russia performing at an anti-drugs festival. The shows were great and Scheer played a set of virtually new material. Guitarist Neal was later interviewed live on Russian television to an estimated TV audience of 100 million!

April 23 1997

Scheer are currently gearing up to record their 2nd album with Clif Norrell at the helm. Scheer will be playing their first European show of 1997 in Moscow, Russia on Saturday April 19th in support of the local anti-drugs campaign.

The single 'Demon' was released on February 7th in Ireland only, and is available through 4.A.D. Mail Order.

February 5 1997

Scheer will soon release a new 3-song EP, featuring 'Demon' from their 1996 release "Infliction", and two new ones: 'Obsession ' and '(Green Room) Sex Kitten '. The EP will be available in the US on February 7th [BAD 7006].


January 1997

Following a year which saw them play the U.S. with Lush and Mojave 3 as part of the 'Shaving The Pavement' tour, Scheer released the 'Demon' EP.
